The Stornoway Trust are working in partnership with the local authority, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar to assist adult with learning, physical and mental health needs.

Two groups, the Hebridean Independant Living and Learning Service (HILLS) and the Ardseileach community based day service both work in the Trust nursery at Marybank.

These groups supply flowers to the Stornoway Trust and to the Stornoway Amenity Trust and are also selling vegetables and fruit to a number of local outlets.  The HILLS contacts are George Whyte or John Maclean - (01851) 707819, for Ardseileach contact Sandy Maclean on 01851704342 or 07795354875/07840241719.

The Stornoway Trust periodically purchase bare root trees which are stored prior to use in the nursery area in the Lews Castle grounds.  If you are interested in ordering trees then please contact the Trust Office for further details.
