The Trust operate a sawmill and timber workshop within the Castle Grounds.  All timber comes from within the Castle Grounds (except Douglas Fir which is imported from sustainable Scottish forest sources), call us on (01851) 700400 with your order.  Products available include:

• Bag of logs (collected by customer) - £5
• Bag of logs (delivered to customer) - £5.50
• Per trailer supplied by purchaser at sawmill - £90 (unless small trailer - get quote at mill)
• Per trailer load of logs delivered within the burgh of Stornoway - £100
• Per trailer load of logs delivered outwith the burgh - £110
• Loads delivered to Harris etc. calculated on mileage

If you are looking for solid fuel, contact the Trust office if you wish to purchase a permit to cut peat on the Pentland Road - new permits are £15, renewals are £10.
