The Woodlands Centre overlooks Stornoway inner harbour beside Lews Castle Green.  This is the ideal place to both start and finish you exploration of the Lews Castle Grounds.  The centre offers you relaxing woodland surrounds to enjoy along with wonderful food and drink.  Licensed Café for lunches, home baking, fresh coffee, gifts and crafts, natural and local history displays and a deck area for warmer days.

The Centre is open throughout the year from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, with the last orders in the café being taken at 4.30pm.

The centre is available for private evening hire on either a catering or a non-catering basis.  On a catering basis, cost per head will normally be between £12 and £20 per person (minimum 25/maximum 75 people).  Cost for non catering hire is £50 per hour, or £30 for community groups (total seated capacity 90).
